Guest conductors who have appeared with the Bowling Green Philharmonia include Leonard Slatkin, Marin Alsop, Robert Spano, Bill McGlaughlin, Carl Topilow, Giordano Bellincampi, and others.

 

Numerous soloists have performed with the BG Philharmonia and Chamber Orchestra, including Noah Bendix-Balgley, Randolph Kelly, Zachary DePue, Mingwei Zhao, Julie Buzzelli, and Penny Thompson Kruse. 

 

The College of Musical Art's annual New Music Festival also draws a variety of internationally acclaimed composers to hear their music performed by and work with the BG Philharmonia. Such composers include Jennifer Higdon, Aaron Jay Kernis, Sarah Kirkland Snider, Steven Mackey, Xiaogang Ye, Shulamit Ran, Bernard Rands, Chen Yi, Steven Stucky, and many others.
